About Liz
Firstly, I am a professional wedding photographer, which means that I don't do weddings as a sideline or fit them in between other commercial jobs. I chose to specialise in wedding photography because I love it, and I believe that this shows in the quality of my work and attention to detail. I run a small business from home, photographing a maximum of one wedding a week so that I can devote plenty of time to each wedding, and husband Tony is an expert in Photoshop wizardry such as virtual spot removing - so you get excellent personal service and a great deal.
I am with you for the whole day, departing only after everyone sits down for the wedding breakfast. As a woman, I fit right in with the bride's and bridesmaids' morning preparations, unobtrusively catching moments such as the dresses being buttoned up and details like the flowers or that coveted pair of Jimmy Choos. I don't boss people around or hold up the proceedings: I sincerely believe that my job is to document, not dominate, your wedding day. My aim is to create an evocative pictorial diary of your big day, and I do this using reportage or photojournalistic techniques. This doesn't mean that I snoop with a long lens from next-door's garden! It means that many of the photographs are taken spontaneously, whilst you are having fun - although of course I am happy to do poses and group shots for you if and when you want them.
I have photographed sickeningly stunning people, couples in boats and golf buggies, brides and grooms playing on seesaws and slides, and one audacious bride who even did a moony in her wedding dress! This is your day and if you want to strut like a catwalk model, I'll be there to record it for posterity and the hilarity of friends and family. On the other hand, many people (and I am one of them) hate having their photograph taken - don't worry, my quiet, fuss-free style means that I will be largely forgotten. Just get on with the important business of enjoying your day and I'll be somewhere nearby capturing things for you. I won't be forcing you to make unnatural poses in front of an intimidating tripod, I won't be pushing you through a routine so that I can get to the next wedding of the day, and I won't unnecessarily keep you and your guests from the bar!

I generally work within an hour's drive of my home on the Worcestershire/Warwickshire border, regularly covering weddings in such areas as Broadway and the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, Henley-in-Arden and Tanworth-in-Arden, Knowle, Leamington Spa and Warwick.
If you'd like to come and have a no-obligation look at some inspirational real wedding albums and unique books lovingly designed entirely by me (not a Venetian model in sight), it's really easy to arrange a time to suit you - just email or ring me. I don't bite, you won't need to count your fingers after shaking my hand, and I won't chase the next three generations of your family for a sale!
